President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a conversation with representatives of US President Donald Trump Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during which the parties discussed ways to intensify diplomatic efforts to bring peace closer. “I just spoke with representatives of President Trump Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. A good and important conversation about how to intensify diplomacy and bring peace closer,” he noted.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine is ready for peace with dignity, and the teams of the parties continue to maintain close contact to further work on the agreements reached.
“Our teams remain in close contact, in particular to continue working on everything we discussed. Thank you to Steve and Jared for their personal efforts for peace. We are grateful to President Trump and the American people for their continued support,” the head of state concluded.
President Volodymyr Zelensky previously expressed hope for the arrival of representatives of the US President Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Ukraine.
