Corrections Policy
Prompolitinform aims to correct confirmed errors in published materials promptly. This page explains how to report an error and how the editorial team handles such reports.
What errors can be reported
- factual errors: incorrect dates, figures, names, positions or organisation names;
- inaccurate wording that may change the meaning of an article;
- errors in links or sources;
- spelling, punctuation and technical errors.
How to report an error
Fill in the form below and include:
- the article link;
- the fragment with the error;
- the correct information;
- a confirming source, if available.
How to send a report with Ctrl+Enter
You can also report an error directly from an article page.
- Select the text fragment that contains an error.
- Press Ctrl+Enter.
- Check the selected fragment in the popup.
- Click “Send”.
The report will be sent to the editorial team. We will review it and correct the error if confirmed.
How the editorial team reviews reports
The editorial team reviews the report, checks the data against sources and makes a decision. If the error is confirmed, the article is corrected. If the change materially affects the meaning of the publication, the editorial team adds an update note or changes the modified date.
What is not treated as a correction
The editorial team may choose not to change an article if the request concerns an opinion, disagreement with a source’s position, an advertising proposal or a demand to remove correctly published information without sufficient grounds.
