Editorial Policy

The Prompolitinform editorial team aims to publish accurate, verifiable and up-to-date information. This page explains our basic principles for news, sources, updates, advertising materials and corrections.

Core principles

  • check information before publication as far as possible in a news workflow;
  • separate facts from assessments, forecasts and opinions;
  • name the source when an article is based on an external statement or report;
  • preserve context and avoid distorting the meaning of the original source;
  • avoid headlines that promise more than the article provides;
  • correct confirmed errors.

Sources

We use official statements, websites of public authorities, regulators, companies, international organisations, sector agencies, public documents, open data, reports by verifiable media and comments from participants in events.

If a source is important for understanding the article, the editorial team aims to name it in the text. If information is taken from another media outlet, this should be indicated.

Authorship and dates

Articles should have a clear headline, publication date and, where applicable, an author or editorial source. The modified date is used for meaningful updates, not to artificially refresh older articles.

Article updates

An article may be updated after publication if new data, clarifications or official comments appear. If an update materially affects the meaning, the editorial team adds an update note or changes the modified date.

Advertising and partner materials

Advertising, partner and commercial materials must be separated from editorial content. Such publication must not mislead readers about its nature.

Corrections

If an error is confirmed, the editorial team corrects the article. More details: Corrections Policy.
