National Bank of Ukraine updates official exchange rates for September 7

The cost of the US dollar and the euro decreased at the beginning of the week

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for Monday, September 7. The cost of the US dollar will decrease by 16 kopecks, and the euro by 15 kopecks. This was reported by Economichna Pravda citing the National Bank of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

According to the regulator’s data, the value of the US dollar for September 7 is set at 44.56 hryvnias. This reflects a decrease compared to the last working day of the week, when the rate was at 44.72 hryvnias.

A similar trend is observed for the European currency. The official exchange rate for the euro on the specified date is set at 51.78 hryvnias, which is 15 kopecks lower than the figure from September 4, which stood at 51.93 hryvnias.

It is worth noting that current values remain below the historic highs of the currency market. The maximum value for the dollar was recorded on June 11, when the rate reached 44.97 hryvnias.

Similarly, the peak rate for the euro was established on August 24. At that time, the official cost of the currency climbed to the level of 52.24 hryvnias.
