The threat concerns the adversary's strategic aviation
Russian forces have carried out potential launches of cruise missiles from strategic aviation aircraft. Consequently, an air raid alert has been declared in several regions of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the Telegram channel of Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Ukrainian military personnel recorded activity of hostile weapon carriers in the airspace. Citizens were urged to remain in shelters until the danger signal is over.
Types of aircraft involved
According to the military command, the invaders deployed heavy bombers. Specifically, reference is made to the Tu-95MS and Tu-160MS models.
Such aircraft are capable of carrying a significant number of air-launched cruise missiles. The presence of such airborne platforms poses a serious threat to critical infrastructure and civilians.

Law enforcement and security agencies remind the public of the need to respond immediately to airborne threat alerts. Disregarding safety rules can lead to severe consequences.
