Facilities in Rostov and Bryansk regions hit
Ukrainian forces have struck a UAV manufacturing facility in the Rostov region and a logistics depot belonging to a Russian missile brigade in the Bryansk region. The operations took place between October 12 and October 16, 2026. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
In the Rostov region, the target was a production and storage facility of the Roboavia company, located near the village of Lenina. The attack on the facility, which develops and mass-produces unmanned systems for the Russian army, was recorded on October 16.
The military command emphasizes that the destruction of this infrastructure aims to slow down the production rate of UAVs. This directly impacts the ability of the Russians to maintain a steady supply of equipment for frontline units.
Strike on Russian missile brigade
Alongside the operation in the south of russia, the Defense Forces struck facilities in the Bryansk region. According to the General Staff, a storage building containing logistical resources for a Russian missile brigade unit was destroyed on October 12.
The facility was located near the village of Latyshi. This depot supported the military formations operating in that sector.
Additional Ukrainian operational successes
Beyond these targets, Ukrainian units continued to strike critical Russian logistics infrastructure throughout October 16 and the night of October 17. Notably, a railway bridge in the Bryansk region was hit.
Systematic destruction of russian army logistics depots in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine also continues. These actions are part of a strategy to degrade the enemy’s combat potential by disrupting rear supply chains.
