Bila Tserkva – Sighetu Marmatiei border crossing point opens on the border with Romania
A new border crossing point, Bila Tserkva – Sighetu Marmatiei, has started operations on the Ukraine-Romania border. The facility is the third road crossing point for the Zakarpattia region.

The Verkhovna Rada has officially recognised the Soviet administration’s repression in Zakarpattia between 1944 and 1946 as crimes of the communist totalitarian regime. A total of 261 MPs voted for the resolution.
