SES works at the limit of human capabilities, saving the lives of Ukrainians.
On the morning of May 24 in Kyiv, sappers seized a warhead of a Russian missile at one of the locations after a night enemy attack. She hit the building, but did not detonate. This was announced on Sunday by the State Emergency Service of Kyiv on Facebook, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Residents of houses that are located near a dangerous place were asked to leave apartments as soon as possible while sappers of the State Emergency Service neutralized the unexploded part of the rocket, the Mobile Rescue Center of the Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service said.
Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service promptly took out a dangerous find for further destruction.
Rescuers and specialists of the State Emergency Service not only helped people under shelling, but they themselves fell under the Russian blow that night: in one of the units, another shift of 30 rescuers was hit – fortunately, everyone managed to go into hiding. Immediately after the explosion, half of the personnel went up to extinguish their own building, and the other half continued to receive calls and coordinate assistance throughout the region.
At this location, 10 fire trucks were completely destroyed, but the management was restored in a few hours in a safe place.
