The government is preparing additional funding of UAH 2 billion to protect energy facilities and energy equipment in Kyiv before the next heating season. In addition, the Cabinet is preparing additional funding of UAH 2 billion to protect energy facilities and energy equipment.
The implementation of a pilot project to provide backup power for apartment buildings in the capital is also underway. This concerns the purchase and installation of batteries, inverters and generators for the operation of elevators, engineering systems and lighting of public areas.
According to the Prime Minister, the state will continue to provide Kyiv with the necessary support to prepare for winter. At the same time, she emphasized that the responsibility for the high-quality and timely preparation of the capital for the heating season lies with the city authorities, which must ensure proper organization of work and use all the opportunities provided by the state.
On the eve, the Cabinet of Ministers also allocated UAH 3 billion from the state budget reserve fund for the purchase and installation of another 216 new block-modular boiler houses in the regions and Kyiv.
