After the Russian attack, 18 people were killed, 90 injured and over 20 houses damaged
Rescue work is underway in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv as a result of the massive Russian attack on the night of July 2. One of the residential buildings was previously hit by a missile. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Emergency Service in Kyiv, Pavlo Petrov, hromadske reports. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
According to him, there was partial destruction from the first to the ninth floor. The heaviest blow fell on the upper floors – the apartments there were completely destroyed.
As of now, six people are considered missing in this location.
“Rescuers will continue to remove the rubble until all structures are completely dismantled,” the spokesman said.
17 people have already been rescued from this building, seven of whom were pulled out from under the rubble and handed over to medics.
“In terms of the number of victims killed by Russia, this is one of the largest attacks on Kyiv,” Petrov said.
Rescuers are currently working at more than 20 locations. Work is ongoing.
Recall that, according to the State Emergency Service, the number of victims as a result of the nightly massive attack on the capital has increased to 17. Damage was recorded in several districts of the city at once.
