Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced his support for US President Donald Trump’s vision for achieving peace in Ukraine and his peace initiative. He said this during the NATO summit, UNN reports. PromPolitInform portal reports.
According to Erdogan, Ankara will continue to support Ukraine in both military and diplomatic dimensions.
“In the war in Ukraine, I share President Trump’s vision for peace and declare my support for his peace initiative for Ukraine. In addition to the military assistance we provide to Ukraine from our national reserves, we will also continue to contribute within the framework of the PURL initiative,” Erdogan said.
He added that Turkey is simultaneously using existing communication channels with Russia to promote a peaceful settlement.
