The newly appointed Minister of Economy of Ukraine presented the key priorities that will determine the work of the department in the near future. Among the main areas, he named accelerating economic growth, attracting investments, modernizing the labor market and further simplifying conditions for business. This is reported by “Pershy Biznesovy“, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
According to the minister, the government plans to strengthen support for entrepreneurship, in particular by expanding programs for small and medium-sized businesses, stimulating exports and developing sectors with high added value. A special emphasis is placed on attracting foreign investors – for this purpose, changes are being prepared in permitting procedures and investment guarantee mechanisms.
He also stressed the need to update approaches to the labor market: from the development of retraining programs to supporting companies that create modern technological jobs. The plans include expanding opportunities for employees and employers within the framework of digital services.
Another important area will be deregulation. The Ministry is preparing a review of outdated regulations that hinder business development, and some procedures are planned to be transferred to an electronic format to reduce bureaucracy.
We remind you that the outlined priorities meet the needs of the military economy, but their implementation will require coordinated actions between ministries and stable funding.
