The Pension Fund of Ukraine has reminded about the specifics of granting housing subsidies for the heating season. In particular, the legislation provides exceptions for military personnel and citizens participating in the defense of the state. This was reported by pfu.gov.ua, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Current regulations provide special conditions for families whose members are involved in repelling the enemy and defending the country. In such cases, payments received during the performance of combat missions are not taken into account when calculating the total household income for the provision of state aid.
Procedure for calculating and accounting for income
To determine the amount of assistance, citizens’ incomes for the first and second quarters are taken. Pension payments are accounted for by the amount accrued for August, while the incomes of sole proprietors using the simplified taxation system are calculated depending on the chosen group of the single tax.
Grounds for refusal of assistance
Households that have utility service arrears overdue for more than three months amounting to 680 hryvnias or more may be denied the allocation of payments. Restrictions also apply to citizens who have made large purchases, own multiple real estate properties, or new vehicles.
