Ukrainian athlete Taisiya Onofriychuk won the hoop final at the 2026 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, the PromPolitInform portal reports with reference to Ukrainska Pravda.
The last time the “blue and yellow” won the individual program at the World Championships was in 2013.
“In general, this is Onofriychuk’s first triumph at the World Championships level. Previously, the Kyiv native twice took third place at last year’s World Championships in Rio de Janeiro,” the report says.
Important. Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh won the gold medal in the high jump at the European Championships.
