The Ministry of Finance should intensify the process of selling the state-owned Sense Bank against the background of the bank’s alleged involvement in the legalization of funds obtained through criminal means. He said that the funds from the upcoming sale are planned to be directed to the needs of the Defense Forces.
“It is necessary to ensure maximum transparency, competitiveness and efficiency of this process. In parallel, the Ministry of Finance, together with the National Bank, must resolve all the accumulated problems in this financial institution and ensure transparent and high-quality corporate governance,” Koretsky said.
Recall that on August 19, the NABU and the SAPO launched a special operation “Forrest Gump” and exposed a criminal group led by current and former people’s deputies, as well as officials of the President’s Office.
