Soldiers of the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade of the ZSU destroyed a Russian 2C5 Giatsint-S self-propelled artillery system in Kursk Oblast using FPV drones. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Kursk Group of Forces, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
During a hostile shelling of Ukrainian border areas, aerial reconnaissance units launched a drone to locate the enemy’s firing positions. The enemy equipment was spotted near the settlement of Borki in the border zone.
Detection of the firing point and attack
Having recorded the active combat vehicle firing, the military promptly dispatched strike drones to eliminate it. Thanks to precise hits, the artillery system, valued at approximately 4 million dollars, was completely neutralized.
