Danish government agencies are preparing adjustments to the rules for receiving refugees from Ukraine. The new approach implies that not every Ukrainian citizen will be guaranteed the right to receive refugee status in the future. This was reported by Rzeczpospolita, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Danish government circles are reviewing the regulatory procedures governing the granting of asylum to Ukrainians. In accordance with the proposed changes, the automatic or simplified provision of relevant protection may be abolished.
The planned measures will mean an individual assessment of each application for refugee status. As a result, some citizens of Ukraine seeking protection in this country will no longer be able to receive asylum under the general scheme.
