In occupied Yevpatoria, action by Russian air defence resulted in a downed drone striking a nine-storey residential building on International Street, 146. The incident caused a fire on the second floor and shattered windows in numerous apartments.
This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Crimean Wind.
In temporarily occupied Yevpatoria, an unmanned aerial vehicle was heading towards a local electrical substation. However, operation of Russian air defence assets caused the UAV to alter its flight path and crash into a nine-storey residential building.
The impact triggered a fire on the second floor of the residential block located at 146 International Street. Released photographic and video materials document the aftermath, showing burn marks on the building facade and extensive window damage across multiple apartments.
Local observers note that the reckless operation of Russian air defence systems during air raid responses poses the primary threat to civilian infrastructure and residents in occupied Crimea.
