The Government of Great Britain has granted permission to the defence industrial company MBDA to transfer classified technical information regarding British components for SCALP missiles to Ukraine and France. This decision is aimed at deploying the production and assembly of long-range missile weapons directly at Ukrainian facilities.
Prime Minister of Great Britain Andy Burnham, during his first foreign visit to Kyiv, met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing,” and signed a bilateral memorandum of intent on a partnership in the field of artificial intelligence. The British official stated that the security of Ukraine is directly linked to the security of the United Kingdom.
In accordance with the signed agreement, the British side receives access to the database of the Avengers AI Labs platform to train its own artificial intelligence models. According to a statement on the British government’s website, the Ukrainian platform collects information using thousands of daytime surveillance cameras and infrared sensors that track tanks, artillery, air defence systems, reconnaissance UAVs, and Shahed-type strike drones along the frontline.
As part of the visit, the head of the British government also inspected the aftermath of russian attacks on Kyiv’s civilian infrastructure, examined destroyed enemy equipment, visited the capital’s metro system, and held an informal meeting with service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
