Civilian infrastructure sustained damage in the Holosiivskyi and Pecherskyi districts of the capital
Throughout the day on August 27, russia launched a series of drone strikes against Kyiv. Three people were injured, and a sports complex and vehicles were damaged in the capital. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Тетяна Степанова) citing Kyiv Police, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
In the Holosiivskyi district, three residents sustained injuries due to the enemy drone strike. Two men, aged 21 and 31, were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, and a 53-year-old woman also required medical assistance.
In the same district, a car fire was reported and subsequently extinguished by rescue units. Investigative teams and bomb disposal specialists continue to work at the sites.
Damage in the Pecherskyi district
In the Pecherskyi district, falling debris from unmanned aerial vehicles ignited grass and trees in a forest park area, and the fire has been extinguished. Furthermore, a sports complex building was damaged; according to eyewitness reports, the Dynamo stadium was affected.
Earlier, on the night of August 27, strikes hit the Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, and the enemy also targeted warehouses in the Kyiv region. Throughout the day, air defense forces repeatedly intercepted airborne targets over the capital.
