Infrastructure facilities of the logistics operator were destroyed by enemy strikes
On the night of August 28, Russian forces launched an attack on Nova Poshta sorting centers. The company's facilities in Sumy and the Kyiv region were damaged as a result of the strikes. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Nova Poshta.
In Sumy, Russian aviation used four guided aerial bombs, causing severe damage to the sorting terminal’s infrastructure. In addition to the building, three trucks located on the premises were also damaged.
Simultaneously with the strike on the Sumy region, an attack took place in the Kyiv region. There, a sorting depot of the logistics operator was destroyed by an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle.
Impact on personnel and shipments
Despite the significant scale of the destruction, none of the company’s employees were harmed. All workers who were on shift during the attack survived.
An assessment of the damage caused by the enemy aggression is currently underway. Nova Poshta has committed to compensating clients for the full declared value of the damaged shipments.
Operational status of the company
The company plans to contact every client whose shipment was damaged to provide details regarding compensation. Despite the loss of facilities, the operator continues to carry out its logistics operations.
