Compared to the same period in 2025, local budgets received 15.6% more in excise tax revenue. Its share in the total volume of receipts accounts for 5.3%.
“In the field of excisable goods, the budgetary result directly depends on market transparency. Legal trade, compliance with settlement rules, and licensing generate revenue that communities receive. Therefore, our task is to ensure equal conditions for conscientious businesses and minimize budget losses from the shadow market,” emphasized Oleksandr Dvirko, Head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Kyiv Region.
