The average selling price of the dollar in exchange kiosks stands at 44.75 UAH
On Wednesday, September 2, commercial banks and currency exchange kiosks lowered quotes for the US dollar and euro. In the cash market, the average selling rate of the dollar settled at 44.75 UAH, while the euro is sold at 52.00 UAH. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Анастасія Мацепа) citing Minfin, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Financial institutions and exchange offices updated foreign currency purchase and sale rates, maintaining a downward trend. In the cash market, the average purchase rate of the dollar established at 44.65 UAH, while the euro is bought at an average price of 51.80 UAH.
At bank branches and mobile banking applications, foreign exchange prices adjusted depending on the institution. Financial organizations set separate rates for cash operations and card transactions.
Situation in major financial institutions
At PrivatBank branches, the dollar selling rate remained at 44.70 UAH, while the buying rate stood at 44.10 UAH. For card operations, the selling price dropped by 20 kopecks to 44.64 UAH, with a purchase rate of 44.25 UAH. The euro in branches cheapened by 5 kopecks, with purchase at 50.95 UAH and sale at 51.95 UAH. For cards, the euro buying rate fell to 51.25 UAH while the selling price stayed at 52.08 UAH.
Oschadbank kept the selling price of the dollar via the Mobile Oschad app at 44.75 UAH and for cards at 44.90 UAH. The purchase rate for US currency in the mobile service dropped by 5 kopecks to 44.35 UAH. The euro in the application is sold at 52.05 UAH and for cards at 52.20 UAH. European currency purchase via Mobile Oschad stands at 51.45 UAH, and for cards at 51.40 UAH, down 5 kopecks from previous figures.
PUMB kept dollar branch rates unchanged at 44.90 UAH for sale and 44.30 UAH for purchase, while its commercial rate stands at 44.70 UAH and 44.40 UAH respectively. Euro at bank tills dropped by 10 kopecks to 52.10 UAH for sale and 51.40 UAH for purchase. Monobank reduced its dollar selling rate by 17 kopecks to 44.63 UAH and purchase by 14 kopecks to 44.26 UAH. The euro at Monobank fell to 52.05 UAH for sale and 51.35 UAH for purchase.
Comparison of buy and sell rates
Monobank offers the lowest selling price for the dollar among major financial institutions at 44.63 UAH. PrivatBank card rate follows closely at 44.64 UAH, alongside PrivatBank branches and PUMB commercial rate at 44.70 UAH. The most expensive US currency is sold at PUMB branches and Oschadbank for card transactions at 44.90 UAH.
Among euro purchasing options, PrivatBank branches offer the lowest selling price at 51.95 UAH. Monobank and Mobile Oschad list 52.05 UAH, PrivatBank card rate is 52.08 UAH, and PUMB stands at 52.10 UAH. The highest euro selling rate was recorded at Oschadbank for card settlements at 52.20 UAH.
Selling US dollars is most lucrative at PUMB at its commercial rate of 44.40 UAH, whereas PrivatBank branches offer the lowest buy rate at 44.10 UAH. For selling euros, Mobile Oschad provides the best terms at 51.45 UAH, while PrivatBank branches pay the lowest at 50.95 UAH. Buying 1,000 USD across banks ranges from 44,630 UAH at Monobank to 44,900 UAH at PUMB tills and Oschadbank card services.
