Naftogaz spent over 1 million UAH on two tons of coffee

The state company held four tenders for the supply of coffee beans

During 2026, Naftogaz of Ukraine conducted four coffee procurement deals with a total volume of over two tons. The company spent more than 1 million UAH on these purchases. This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

According to data recorded in the Prozorro public procurement system, the state-owned enterprise Naftogaz entered into a series of contracts for the supply of coffee throughout the current year. The total weight of the contracted products reached 2,001 kilograms, with the total value of these agreements amounting to 1,037,688.58 UAH.

The first procurement phase was completed by April 30 and involved the delivery of 602 kg of products. The contract price was 323,635.20 UAH, corresponding to an average cost per kilogram of approximately 538 UAH.

The second tender, completed by June 30, covered 669 kg of coffee for a total of 334,703.38 UAH. In this case, the average price per unit of weight decreased to 500 UAH per kilogram.

Breakdown of supply expenses

In the third procurement deal, slated for delivery by July 31, the company purchased 330 kg of coffee. The cost of this lot was 163,350 UAH, with an average price of 495 UAH per kilogram.

The final, fourth procurement is currently awaiting delivery, which is scheduled by October 31. Naftogaz will pay 216,000 UAH for 400 kg of coffee, equivalent to 540 UAH per kilogram.

Previously, as part of public procurement, the company also ordered various pharmaceutical products. Specifically, these included medical supplies such as massage oil, specialized sports creams, and medication for heartburn relief.
