A car was damaged in the Darnytskyi district due to falling enemy debris
On the night of September 8, russian forces launched an air attack on Kyiv, resulting in falling debris in the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi districts. According to the city military administration, residential buildings and a vehicle were damaged. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Катерина Коваль) citing Kyiv City Military Administration, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
In the Solomianskyi district of the capital, damage was recorded at two locations simultaneously due to falling intercepted objects. Specifically, debris hit a five-story residential building and also damaged a three-story residential structure nearby.
Aftermath in Darnytskyi District
Apart from high-rise buildings, destruction was also recorded on the left bank of the city. A passenger car sustained damage in the Darnytskyi district as a result of falling debris.
Safety Warnings
Representatives of the Kyiv City Military Administration urged residents of the capital not to ignore air raid alerts. People were called upon to stay in safe shelters until the official cancellation of the danger.
Previous Strikes in Regions
Ahead of this, russian invaders targeted the Kyiv region with strike drones. In the Boryspil and Fastiv districts, the strike destroyed seven trucks and twice hit a logistics facility, forcing firefighters to extinguish fires repeatedly.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia
On the same day, Zaporizhzhia came under enemy fire, where Shahed-type drones completely destroyed the City Mall shopping center along with its goods. Firefighters had to extinguish six separate fire sources across an area of 700 square meters.
