Russian drone strikes civilian car in Mykolaiv region, injuring two

A civilian car was targeted by an FPV drone in Dmytrivka village

On the evening of October 6, a Russian drone struck a civilian car in the village of Dmytrivka within the Kutsurub community of Mykolaiv region, injuring two people. A 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman sustained injuries as a result of the attack. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the Telegram channel of Hryhorii Reshetilov, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The assault on civilians occurred within a frontline area where enemy forces regularly deploy unmanned aerial vehicles against non-military targets and transportation.

Injuries and medical response

The strike on the vehicle resulted in physical harm to two individuals who were inside the passenger car at the time of the explosion.

The 29-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries assessed by medical personnel as being of moderate severity.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction following the violent incident.

Regional security situation

Local authorities continue to urge residents to exercise extreme caution and avoid traveling through hazardous areas across the region whenever possible.

Russian military units persist in daily shelling and drone attacks targeting populated areas in southern Ukraine using various weapon systems.
