Volodarskaya Oil Station Catches Fire in Moscow Region After Drone Attack

The facility handles approximately three million tons of petroleum products annually

The Volodarskaya linear production dispatch station in the Ramensky urban district of the Moscow region caught fire following a nighttime drone attack. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Crimean Wind.

The fiery emergency occurred at the region’s largest oil hub, as evidenced by numerous photos and video materials from the scene. A powerful blaze engulfed the enterprise’s infrastructure facilities.

Scale of the Oil Hub

The specified station is subordinate to Transnefteproduct and ensures the transshipment of about 3 million tons of various petroleum products annually. The technological complex plays a key role in supplying fuel to the central part of russia.

Supply to Aviation Hubs

Fuel resources from this oil hub are transported via mainline pipelines directly to the capital’s airports. In particular, this concerns the provision of kerosene and other combustible materials to the Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo air harbors.

Until now, open sources had not reported any previous violent or strike attacks on this infrastructure facility. Law enforcement agencies and emergency services are continuing to eliminate the consequences of the large-scale fire.
