Gas station chains have adjusted auto gas costs while keeping gasoline and diesel prices stable
As of October 7, liquefied petroleum gas prices are rising at Ukrainian gas stations, while gasoline and diesel costs remain unchanged. Major retail chains have increased gas prices, while a significant gap between premium networks and discounters persists. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Ірина Гамерська), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
A notable upward trend has been recorded in the auto gas segment. Specifically, SOCAR, OKKO, and WOG networks raised prices by 1.40 UAH per liter, setting the cost at 46.90 UAH/L. Simultaneously, the UPG operator increased gas costs by 50 kopecks, bringing the price to 44.50 UAH/L.
Market price disparity
A significant price gap remains between different categories of retail chains. The difference in the cost of standard A-95 gasoline between premium segments—such as OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR—and more budget-friendly operators like Ukrnafta or UPG can reach up to 6 UAH per liter.
Gasoline and diesel costs
Despite market volatility, major fuel companies are currently maintaining A-95 gasoline prices in a stable range of 88.90 to 94.90 UAH/L. A similar trend is observed for diesel fuel, with average costs fluctuating between 97.90 and 103.00 UAH/L, depending on the network and service quality.
An analysis of current prices reveals varying pricing approaches among major operators. SOCAR, for instance, maintains NANO 100 gasoline at 104.00 UAH, whereas Ukrnafta offers A-95 at 88.90 UAH. In the premium fuel sector, such as Pulls 100 at OKKO or Mustang 100 at WOG, prices are set at 102.90 UAH per liter.
