Defense forces recorded impacts at 14 locations across the country
On the night of October 10, Ukrainian air defense neutralized 117 out of 160 drones used by Russian forces to attack the country. The air defense battle continued from the evening of the previous day. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy forces launched 160 strike UAVs of various types, including jet modifications, Gerberas, and Parodiya decoy drones, for the aerial assault. Launches were carried out from the territory of Russia, specifically from the areas of Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk region and Crimea.
Directions of attacks and interception forces
Fighter aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and unmanned systems joined the repelling of the massive air aggression. Mobile fire groups formed in various regions of Ukraine to destroy aerial targets also operated actively.
Consequences of impacts and falling debris
As of 09:00 in the morning, the destruction and suppression of 117 enemy aerial objects was confirmed. At the same time, impacts of enemy weapons were recorded at 14 locations, while falling debris from shot-down devices damaged another 10 sites.
