The highest prices for petrol and diesel as of October 11 are maintained by OKKO, WOG, and Socar networks
As of October 11, 2026, major Ukrainian petrol station networks kept the prices of petrol, diesel, and autogas at the previous day's level. No changes in retail prices were recorded. This was reported by Glavcom citing Der Spiegel, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
On Sunday, market operators, including Socar, KLO, UPG, WOG, OKKO, Ukrnafta, and BRSM-Nafta, did not adjust prices for major types of fuel. The highest cost for petrol and diesel remains at OKKO, WOG, and Socar stations.
Factors influencing retail costs
Pricing in the Ukrainian petroleum market depends on European benchmarks, as the country imports significant volumes of fuel. The final cost for consumers is influenced by logistics costs, inventory levels, demand dynamics, and exchange rate fluctuations.
As expert Mykhailo Honchar noted, the retail market has a time lag in responding to changes in wholesale prices. According to him, price increases happen faster, while the reverse process of price reduction at petrol stations takes significantly longer.
Consequences of Russian attacks on infrastructure
The Russian Federation continues to systematically strike fuel infrastructure, creating additional risks for market stability. According to data from Der Spiegel, more than 200 Ukrainian petrol stations have been attacked since April 2026.
Director of A-95 Serhiy Kuyun explained that through such actions, russia aims to spread terror and conduct propaganda by destroying energy sector facilities. Despite this, large networks are quickly repairing damaged stations, which helps avoid a nationwide fuel shortage.
Currently, experts do not classify the situation as a fuel crisis, as there are sufficient volumes of petroleum products on the market. Hennadiy Ryabtsev emphasized that occasional supply issues may arise in frontline regions, but these are solvable challenges.
