Fuel prices on October 18, 2026: how much gasoline, diesel and gas cost at filling stations

Various filling station networks adjusted the cost of petroleum products

As of October 18, 2026, Ukrainian filling station networks updated fuel prices, with major operators increasing the cost of certain types of petroleum products. In particular, Okko increased the price of diesel fuel and DP+ by 1 UAH per liter. This was reported by Glavcom citing Der Spiegel, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

New price tags for gasoline, diesel fuel, and autogas have been recorded across Ukraine’s major filling station networks. At the same time, prices remained unchanged compared to the previous day at Socar, UPG, KLO, WOG networks, as well as at BRSM-Nafta and Ukrnafta.

Highest and lowest prices at filling stations

The highest fuel prices are currently offered by Okko, WOG, and Socar networks. Traditionally, the lowest retail prices are maintained at BRSM-Nafta and Ukrnafta filling stations.

Analysts note that the retail market reacts to wholesale price fluctuations with a certain delay. “Prices rise quickly and soften much slower,” explained Mykhailo Honchar.

Factors influencing petroleum product costs

Pricing is affected by general procurement costs, logistics expenses, currency exchange rate fluctuations, available inventories, and demand. Russian shelling of port infrastructure further complicates delivery, as some maritime routes have to be shifted to overland logistics.

Since April, the Russian military has attacked more than 200 Ukrainian filling stations, according to Der Spiegel data. Despite the damage, operators promptly restore the facilities, which helps prevent a nationwide shortage of petroleum products.

Risk assessment and deficit situation

“Behind this are two main goals — to sow terror and break the spirit of resistance among ordinary people, and the second is propaganda,” explained Serhiy Kuyun. Currently, experts do not consider the market situation to be a full-scale crisis, as overall fuel volumes are sufficient.

Local supply difficulties are possible primarily in frontline regions. “A crisis is when petroleum products are in short supply and there is nowhere to get them. Currently, there are certain supply problems in frontline regions, but these problems can be solved,” noted Hennadiy Riabtsev.
