Spanish partners provided equipment for rescuers, while a benefactor donated generators
The Ukrainian association Maidan Malaga, together with Spanish partners, has sent over 11 tons of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine. The aid is intended to support both the civilian population and military personnel. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Consulate of Ukraine in Malaga, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The shipment includes ten generators, which will help citizens get through the winter season amidst constant Russian attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure. The equipment was purchased using funds from Spanish philanthropist Vicente Jimenez Ifergan.
Specialized equipment for emergency workers
In addition to the generators, Spanish firefighters donated 15 sets of protective clothing and other fire and rescue gear to their Ukrainian counterparts. This equipment will significantly bolster the capabilities of Ukrainian emergency services in responding to crises.
Organizers of the collection
The humanitarian mission was initiated by activists from the Maidan Malaga association, Nataliia Moshchenko Koer and Myroslava Prokopchuk. Numerous volunteers and representatives of the civil sectors in Spain and Ukraine participated in the project.
The diplomatic mission expressed gratitude to Andalusian firefighters, the Ukrainian diaspora, and Spanish partners for their systematic support. This contribution is part of broader resource-providing efforts for Ukraine that have been ongoing since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
