On March 13, in France, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the Crown Prince of Iran in exile, Reza Pahlavi. The head of state said this in Telegram, Apostrophe writes. The PromPolitInform portal reports.

Zelensky said that during the meeting they discussed in detail the situation in Iran and the region, as well as the American operation against the terrorist regime in general.

In turn, the prince and the team informed about the signals received from within the country. They discussed how international pressure and joint efforts can help ensure that the Iranian regime does not win in anything.

“The power vertical has indeed already suffered significant losses, and it is important that the Iranian regime does not win in anything and that the people of Iran receive more protection of life and opportunities to determine their own destiny,” the message says.

The President noted that Ukraine wants to see a free Iran that will not cooperate with Russia and destabilize the Middle East region, Europe and the world in general.

In addition, he expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for his clear position in supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Reza Pahlavi is the Crown Prince of Iran, the son of the last Shah, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, heads the Pahlavi dynasty and is one of the main critics of the Islamic regime in Iran. After the 1979 revolution, he was forced to leave the country and live in exile (exile).
