Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky spoke about the successes of the Defense Forces in the southern direction.

So, during a working trip to the Southern Operational Zone, the Commander-in-Chief held a meeting with the command of our offensive group, the commanders of assault and air assault units.
“I heard reports on the performance of combat missions by personnel. Discussed options for further action. Coordinated the interaction of parts in the bands of responsibility.
We continue to tirelessly liberate the Ukrainian land from the invaders thanks to the courage and unconventional actions of our soldiers. Since the beginning of the operation, we have regained control over about 470 square meters. km., neutralizing more than 11 thousand invaders,” said Syrsky.
Earlier, Sirsky said that he had visited the southern direction of the front, where he met with the commanders of assault and air assault units and units that conduct active defense in certain areas.
