Harry’s message to Ukrainians: “The world sees and respects you.”
Prince Harry arrived on an unannounced visit to Kyiv. This is his third visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. This was reported by British journalist Christopher Ship in the social network X and The Sun, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
At the Kyiv railway station, Prince Harry was met by the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Kalmykova and the director of the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation Ramina Jester.
Prince Harry is due to speak at the Kyiv Security Forum, which is being organised by the Prime Minister’s Fund, which will take place this year on 23-24 April.
Prince Harry wants to “remind people at home and around the world what Ukraine is facing and support people and partners who do extraordinary work every hour of every day in incredibly difficult conditions.”
In his speech at the Kyiv Security Forum, he will urge the world “not to be numb from the conflict.”
The former British soldier is also expected to visit sappers from the Halo Trust charity, which was led by his late mother, Princess Diana.
His trip to Ukraine comes after a four-day visit to Australia last week with wife Meghan.
Last year, Harry visited Ukraine twice, in April and September, as a guest of the charity Superhumans, which provides advanced prostheses and rehabilitation to wounded soldiers and civilians.
- On February 24, Prince Harry addressed the Ukrainians on the fourth anniversary of the Russian invasion, recording a video.
- On February 13, 2025, Prince Harry appeared at the Invictus Games in Canada in a jacket with a chevron of the Ukrainian brigade.
