Ukrainian drones hit Syzran refinery 800 km from the border

On the night of May 21, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation, located more than 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

The consequences of the attack were announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as the Special Operations Forces and the Unmanned Systems Forces, the PromPolitInform portal informs.

According to the MTR, the attack on the refinery, which belongs to Rosneft, was carried out by Deep Strike units. The Forces of unmanned systems said that the operation involved the operators of the 1st separate center and the 413rd regiment “Raid.”
