On the night of May 30, Russian troops carried out a massive combined attack on the territory of Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile, six Kh-101 cruise missiles and 290 drones of various types. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Among the drones launched were Shahed strike UAVs, jet drones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas and Parody simulator drones.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defense had neutralized 284 air targets. In particular, five Kh-101 cruise missiles and 279 enemy drones of various types were shot down.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems forces and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack.
At the same time, nine strike drones were recorded hitting seven locations. Fragments of downed air targets were also recorded falling in ten locations.
The Air Force added that two Russian missiles — one cruise and one ballistic — did not reach their targets. Information about them is currently being clarified.
