On June 30, all regions of Ukraine will implement power outage schedules for the population from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., as well as power restrictions for industry and business due to increased electricity consumption due to the heat.
On Tuesday, June 30, all regions of Ukraine will introduce temporary power consumption restrictions due to the increased load on the power system caused by hot weather. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
According to the company, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. the following will be in effect:
power restrictions schedules for industrial enterprises and business;
hourly power outage schedules for the population and other categories of consumers in the amount of 0.5 to 1 turn.
The reason for the introduction of restrictions was a significant increase in electricity consumption due to the heat.
Energy experts emphasized that the situation in the power system may change, so Ukrainians are recommended to follow the current information on the official resources of their distribution system operators (oblenergo).
