The leader in fuel sales has changed in Ukraine. It has overtaken Ukrnafta and WOG

In May, the OKKO network again topped the rating of the largest fuel retailers in Ukraine. This, NV writes, is reported by the A-95 Consulting Group. The PromPolitInform portal informs.

In May, OKKO sold 109.6 thousand cubic meters of gasoline, diesel fuel and LPG, which is 1.7 thousand cubic meters, or 1.5%, more than in April.

At the same time, the April leader — Ukrnafta — reduced sales by 14.5 thousand cubic meters. m, or by 11.9%, to 107.5 thousand cubic meters, and took second place.

“In April, Ukrnafta for the first time overtook OKKO with a result of 122 thousand cubic meters against 107.9 thousand cubic meters. This was the result of the government initiative to contain fuel prices, according to which Ukrnafta was instructed to trade with a minimum markup,” the publication says. — “The largest increase was obtained thanks to low prices for diesel fuel. But already in May, it was diesel fuel that caused a decrease in total sales: sales volumes fell by 8.4 thousand cubic meters from a total reduction of 14.5 thousand cubic meters.”

The WOG network takes third place, which in May increased sales by 1.8%, to 88.8 thousand cubic meters. m.

It is noted that UPG demonstrated the best dynamics among the largest chains.

“The company’s sales increased by 4 thousand cubic meters, or 8.3%, to 52.3 thousand cubic meters. This allowed the chain to further increase its gap with BRSM-Nafta, which took fifth place with an indicator of 46.1 thousand cubic meters (+2.6%),” the publication says. — “As before, the leading factor in UPG’s growth is the active expansion of the network: in May alone, the company opened 79 new gas stations that previously operated under the Avias/ANP brand.”

OKKO also remains the unchanging leader in terms of daily sales per gas station — 8.6 cubic meters. WOG is in second place — 8 cubic meters, BRSM is in third place with an indicator of 6.4 cubic meters, followed by Ukrnafta and UPG — 5.1 and 4.1 cubic meters, respectively.

According to the State Tax Service, in May, Ukrainian gas stations sold a total of 649.4 thousand cubic meters of fuel, which is 10.7 thousand cubic meters, or 1.7%, more than in April.

Gasoline sales in May increased by 1.6% to 217.1 thousand cubic meters, diesel fuel – by 1.7% to 321.8 thousand cubic meters, liquefied gas – by 1.8% to 110.5 thousand cubic meters.

As reported, the Ukrnafta gas station network became the leader of the retail fuel market in Ukraine in April. The OKKO network took second place, and the WOG network – third place.
