In agreement with President Volodymyr Zelensky, the government appointed Yevheniy Khmara as the acting Minister of Defense and Andriy Sybiga as the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs. “In agreement with the President, the government appointed Yevheniy Khmara as the acting Minister of Defense and Andriy Sybiga as the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs. It is important to maintain continuity of work in the areas of defense and foreign policy,” the report says.
The Cabinet also decided to reorganize ministries in accordance with the decisions of the parliament.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy was restored, and a separate Ministry for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons was created.
In addition, the directions of economy and environment and recovery, as well as infrastructure and transport, were delimited.
We remind you that on July 16, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was headed by Ivan Vyhivskyi, who previously headed the National Police, instead of Ihor Klymenko. It was then that the Verkhovna Rada approved the new composition of the government.
