The positions of the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, which the president must submit, remain vacant

The new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers was supported by 264 people’s deputies. The government of Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky included:
Denys Shmyhal – First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy;
Tetyana Berezhna – Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy of Ukraine, Minister of Culture;
Vsevolod Chentsov – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration;
Vitaly Bezgin – Minister for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons;
Matviy Bidny – Minister for Youth and Sports;
Andriy Butenko – Minister for Education and Science;
Ivan Vyhivskyi – Minister for Internal Affairs;
Taras Vysotskyi – Minister for Agrarian Policy and Food;
Mykola Kalashnyk – Minister for Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport;
Vitaly Kim – Minister for Veterans Affairs;
Oleksandr Kravchenko – Minister for Economy and Environment;
Viktor Lyashko – Minister for Healthcare;
Serhiy Marchenko – Minister for Finance;
Denys Maslov – Minister for Justice;
Denys Ulyutin – Minister for Social Policy, Family and Unity;
Oksana Ferchuk – Minister for Digital Transformation.
At the same time, the positions of Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs remain vacant. Candidates for these positions must be nominated by the president. Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky reported that he would nominate Ihor Klymenko (Minister of Internal Affairs in the governments of Denys Shmyhal and Yulia Svyrydenko) for the position of head of the Ministry of Defense. According to RBC-Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga will remain the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Recall that on the morning of July 16, rallies were held in many cities of Ukraine against the background of the announcement of the resignation of Mykhailo Fedorov from the post of Minister of Defense. People gathered in the central squares of their cities, expressing their disagreement with such a personnel decision.
At the same time, Mykhailo Fedorov himself confirmed that the reason for his dismissal from the post was the blocking of reforms and initiatives by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky. Mykhailo Fedorov also reported that he received an offer from the president to remain in his team as an advisor, but refused it.
