In the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region, emergency and rescue operations at the site of the Russian missile strike have been completed. Information about the death of ten people has been confirmed. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region, writes “Holovne in UA“. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
“As a result of the attack, 10 people died, dozens more were injured,” the message says.
As previously reported by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, about 100 people were injured of varying severity.
Rescuers extinguished fires in three private residential buildings and eight cars. In addition, 23 private homes, two hotels, a restaurant and 34 cars were damaged as a result of the strike.
Recall that on July 24, Russia attacked a facility in the Kyiv region with a ballistic missile, where representatives of the Ukrainian defense industry were at that time. According to the Kyiv OVA, the strike fell on the territory of a private training ground in the Buchansky district.
As stated by the spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Lykhovii, the facility in the Kyiv region, on which Russia launched a ballistic strike, is not within the scope of control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The General Staff emphasized that when conducting such events, it is necessary to take into account all risks and use cover.
The Prosecutor General’s Office is conducting procedural management in criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of the laws and customs of war. At the same time, another criminal case was initiated – under Part 3 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It concerns the possible improper performance of official duties during the organization and holding of the event, which led to the death of people and other serious consequences.
