Overnight into 15 August 2026, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine attacked a military-industrial complex facility on the territory of the Russian Federation. The strike targeted the Progress Rocket Space Centre located in the city of Samara, Samara Oblast.

According to available information, a direct hit on the target on the enterprise’s territory was recorded. Following the attack, damage effects were reported at the facility, with additional details currently being clarified.
