The National Bank of Ukraine set the official hryvnia-to-dollar exchange rate for August 20 at 44.70 UAH per dollar, down 7 kopecks from the previous day. Meanwhile, the official euro exchange rate increased by 3 kopecks to 51.86 UAH.
This was reported by Minfin citing the National Bank of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The regulator released the official foreign exchange market figures for Thursday, August 20. The American currency demonstrates a decrease compared to previous figures.
A day earlier, the official rate of the US currency stood at 44.77 UAH per unit. The European currency, on the other hand, showed an upward trend.
On Wednesday, August 19, the official euro rate was fixed at 51.83 UAH per euro. Thus, the European currency added 3 kopecks in value.
