Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of an enemy strike in Zhytomyr. Continuous emergency and restoration operations are ongoing at the site to secure the area.
This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Overnight, emergency response specialists dismantled hazardous elements of the cornice on the facade of the damaged building. The emergency personnel also dismantled and removed damaged floor beams.
In total, 110 cubic metres of destroyed building debris have already been dismantled and cleared from the site.
Elimination of the consequences of the enemy attack
Emergency rescue operations began immediately after the shelling and continued throughout the night. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine continue working around the clock to clear the area and eliminate all potential hazards as quickly as possible.
