The National Bank of Ukraine has banned a number of companies and internet services under the MONEY24/7 brand from providing financial services due to a lack of relevant licenses. The regulator found that the network was illegally conducting currency transactions, raising funds, and performing money transfers. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the National Bank of Ukraine.
The ban applies to the activities of MONEY24.7 AGENTSTVO LLC, LEGION 1913 LLC, OAO 1913 LLC, TRYKOZHAZNA MOZAIKA LLC, FU GGLA LLC, as well as Andriy Viktorovych Smirnov. The restrictions affect operations via the website https://money24.kiev.ua/, branded Telegram channels and bots, as well as all information resources using the MONEY24/7 trademark.
Identified signs of unlicensed activity
During supervisory activities, the regulator recorded aggressive advertising of the network’s services and the absence of financial service permits for most of the mentioned entities. An exception is FU GGLA LLC, which may continue cash currency trading operations exclusively within the scope of its existing license.
In the companies’ actions, the NBU identified signs of providing services for raising funds and precious metals, as well as executing transfers without opening accounts. The board of the bank established that the activities of all mentioned persons are under the decisive influence of the ultimate beneficial owner, Andriy Viktorovych Smirnov.
Legal grounds for the regulator’s decision
The decision to impose the ban was made on August 17, 2026, upon the recommendation of the Committee for Supervision and Regulation of Bank Activities and Oversight of Payment Infrastructure. The document is based on specialized laws regarding financial services, payment operations, and currency regulation.
The National Bank emphasizes the necessity of verifying the validity of licenses held by financial institutions before initiating cooperation. Information about the status of companies can be found on the regulator’s official website in the section dedicated to warnings about unlicensed activity.
