In the Tyube industrial park in Dagestan, a major Ozon logistics center covering 130,000 square meters was hit by a drone attack. The facility played a key role in supplying goods to Iran and Azerbaijan.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Катерина Коваль), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
A large-scale fire broke out at the warehouse complex immediately after the strike. This hub was considered one of the company’s main distribution centers in the North Caucasus and was integrated into the North-South international transport corridor.
Series of strikes on company infrastructure
On August 24, this was the third case of damage to the company’s storage facilities. Overnight, similar attacks were carried out on sites in Adygea and the Stavropol Krai, where the total area of the damaged warehouses reached nearly 185,000 square meters.
Furthermore, a fire was reported at a warehouse in Krasnodar overnight, caused by a massive drone raid. A day earlier, on August 23, a fire occurred in an industrial zone in Saint Petersburg, where military-industrial enterprises are located.
Preparation for attacks and concealment of locations
It is worth noting that the company had attempted to secure its logistics capacities in advance. At least 20 days before the first strikes, the addresses of Ozon warehouses in the rf were removed from public access, while data on foreign branches remained public.
