A Russian strike drone hit a commuter train in the Mykolaiv region. No passengers or crew members were injured as a result of the attack. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Avoiding casualties was possible due to the timely announcement of the air threat and coordinated actions by railway staff. The order to evacuate was issued in advance through the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring center, which keeps a constant watch on security risks along the tracks.

Eliminating the consequences of the attack

Emergency services and railway repair crews are currently working at the site. Significant support in addressing the aftermath of the strike is also being provided by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes the necessity for passengers to strictly follow staff instructions while on board. Such measures are essential for ensuring personal safety during wartime threats.
