In July 2026, producer prices for industrial products in Ukraine increased by 3% compared to June figures. The annual price growth in this sector reached 42.5%. This was reported by Ukrinform citing the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The main factor behind the acceleration of inflation in the industrial sector was the rise in the cost of energy services. In particular, tariffs for the supply of gas, electricity, steam, and air conditioning increased by 6.4%.
Dynamics of industrial goods costs
The current annual industrial inflation rate was the second highest since the beginning of 2026. Higher growth rates, at 45.2%, were recorded only in May.
It is worth noting that in June 2026, Ukraine saw a reverse trend. At that time, producer prices for industrial products showed a decline of 4.1% relative to the previous month.
