The Odesa-based company received permission to use frequencies for microwave communication
The National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and the Provision of Postal Services (NCEC) has decided to issue new licenses to the private enterprise MYRTELEKOM. The relevant document is dated August 27, 2026. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from NCEC.
According to regulator decision No. 390, the Odesa-based private enterprise MYRTELEKOM will receive permits for the use of the radio frequency spectrum in two areas. Specifically, the company will be granted a license for the operation of fixed radio service microwave communications, as well as a license for radio communications within a data transmission system that uses noise-like signals.
The decision was made based on the applicant’s requests submitted to the commission at the end of July 2026. The regulator also took into account the findings of the state enterprise Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies, which conducted a technical examination and confirmed the feasibility of ensuring proper electromagnetic compatibility of the applicant’s equipment.
Payment and notification
In accordance with the established procedure, the Radio Frequency Spectrum Department must notify representatives of PE MYRTELEKOM of the need to pay for the issuance of the licenses. The cost of the service is calculated in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 433 dated May 2, 2023.
Upon receipt of the official notification from the commission, the company must transfer funds to the account of the territorial body of the State Treasury at the place of registration within 30 calendar days. At the same time, the NCEC Activity Support Department is required to send a copy of the adopted decision to the Ukrainian State Centre of Radio Frequencies for further technical work with the licensee.
